Two Words- "Record Breaking" For Craton Promotions
Craton Promotions has been doing the Sebring International Raceway events for a while now but this SuperSebring race in 2023 was something special. The biggest crew Craton Promotions has ever employed, and the most successful “Super Sebring Super Store” of all time. The fans were great, the entertainment was incredible and the parties were seemingly neverending. (see photos below)

The 2023 SuperSebring Weekend was a spectacular event that featured two major endurance races at the Sebring International Raceway in Florida: the 1000 Miles of Sebring for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 71st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
The event took place from March 15 to March 18, 2023, and attracted thousands of fans who enjoyed four days of non-stop racing action.
The 1000 Miles of Sebring (or 8 Hours) was the first race of the season for the FIA WEC, which marked the debut of the new Hypercar class. The race was held on Friday, March 17, and saw a fierce battle between Ferrari, Porsche, Peugeot, Toyota, Cadillac and Glickenhaus. The race was won by the No. 7 Toyota Gazoo Racing Hypercar driven by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José María López, who completed 253 laps and finished ahead of their sister car, the No. 8 Toyota Gazoo Racing Hypercar driven by Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Brendon Hartley.
The other class winners were: No. 22 United Autosports USA Oreca 07-Gibson in LMP2, No. 92 Porsche GT Team Porsche 911 RSR-19 in GTE Pro and No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo in GTE Am.
The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring was the second round of both the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the Michelin Endurance Cup. The race was held on Saturday, March 18, and featured four classes of cars: Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), GT Daytona Pro (GTD PRO), GT Daytona (GTD) and Porsche Carrera Cup. The race was won by the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05 driven by Filipe Albuquerque, Ricky Taylor and Alexander Rossi, who completed 349 laps and finished ahead of their rivals, the No. 31 Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R driven by Felipe Nasr, Pipo Derani and Mike Conway.
The other class winners were: No. 79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 RSR-19 in GTD PRO, No. 96 Turner Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 in GTD and No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in Porsche Carrera Cup.
The SuperSebring Weekend also featured support races from the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and the Porsche Carrera Cup North America². The winners of these races were: No. 95 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 in Alan Jay Automotive Network 120 for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, No. 16 Kelly-Moss Road & Race Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in Race No. 1 for the Porsche Carrera Cup, and No. 3 JDX Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in Race No. 2 for the Porsche Carrera Cup.
