Final IMSA Race of 2023, The Record Breaking Petit Le Mans in Georgia
Team IMSA/Store 254 Tent was full of fans and excitement, But the games out front were the best
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, GA – The Petit Le Mans is the final race in the IMSA series of races every season, and it is usually one of the most exciting events of the year for the Craton Promotions crew as well.
Petite has always been one of our bigger events of the year, the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta track is also one of our clients so we sell the cool Road Atlanta gear all year long as well.
This year we did a few different things for the fans and our VIP clients as well. Not only did we have some great 2023 event gear but we also had several sale items from events past.
I was out in front of the store for most of the weekend, playing games and giving away prizes to the fans who came by to participate in one of our prize challenges. I had Kaylyn helping out front for a few days and also Todd our Director of Merchandise came out and was my tag team partner with the fans one of the days. We gave away a slew of prizes and had a ton of fun. It was the last event of the year so it was also time to draw the names for the “2023 Team IMSA Carspotter Guide Cornhole Boards” that we traveled the country with all season. It was a pleasure to give them away to our winner.
The number of fans that attended this race must have been a record because we had three different stores open all weekend long and we were all very busy. Thank You all for coming out, it was a blast to party with you all weekend.
Speaking of parties, our corporate office crew held a VIP party at “Camp Craton” and invited all of Craton Inc.’s Clients, suppliers, and other companies they work with. The office crew did a great job giving tours of the track, our stores, and other things. The VIP party culminated with a big dinner and drinks night at Camp Craton on-site at the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
I have to give a big thank you to Colin and the Skip Barber Racing School for allowing me to go on a hot track lap. It was an incredible thrill, and I do recommend that everyone tries it at least once in their lives.
Record crowds, record sales for Team Craton, and record fun for all. It was a great event to end the 2023 IMSA season.
Everyone was so worn out from working so many hours throughout the event that it was decided that our celebratory dinner would be postponed for a week. After we all rested up we all met up at the famed Pappadeaux restaurant in Atlanta for dinner and drinks, once again fun was had by all.
